Steps:
Think about the situation: a friend's wedding is happening nearby, and for some reason (up to you as to why) you donβt want to attend.
Write down all the things you might do or say to get out of going, from practical alternatives to wild fantasies.
If you want, add illustrations or doodles to bring your ideas to life.
Tips, Guidance, Inspiration, and Science
Want to keep going?
Discuss your ideas with a friend or family member and see what they would do in the same situation.
Write a short story based on one of your alternatives.
Help! I'm stuck!
Think about the reasons why you might not want to attend and how those could influence your decisions.
Consider both realistic and fantastical options β there's no wrong answer.
If you're struggling, set a timer for 5 minutes and write down everything that comes to mind, without judgment.
